Star forward Dillon Brooks was sidelined by injury, but nothing could come between Oregon and history. With their 69-52 win over Stanford, the No. 11 Ducks (18-2, 7-0 Pac-12) broke a 104-year school record by winning their 16th straight game and 38th straight home game. Stanford (11-9, 3-5) saw its three-game win streak snapped, as it fell to a top-25 team for the sixth time this season.

Senior guard Marcus Allen was Stanford’s sole double-digit scorer, as the team as a whole shot just 32.3 percent (20-for-60).

The Ducks controlled the game from the start, claiming a quick 16-7 lead and never looking back. Oregon’s top four scorers outscored the Cardinal team as a whole: Chris Boucher scored 16, Dylan Ennis scored 15 and Jordan Bell and Tyler Dorsey scored 11 apiece. For Boucher, the game marked the 11th double-double of his career, as he tacked on 10 rebounds as well.

At times, Stanford trailed by as many as 25 points, failing to score in the last five minutes of the first half, and failing to put up a field goal in over eight minutes of the second. The Ducks, for their part, have routed their last six opponents by an average of 24.3 points.

Up next, the Cardinal will look forward to the possible return of top-scorer Reid Travis as they take on take on California on Sunday, Jan. 29. The junior forward has been sidelined with a shoulder injury for the past three games, and despite the recent win streak, Stanford has missed his presence on the court.

Tip-off in Berkeley will be at 5:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
