Arrillaga Nights at the Arrillaga Family Dining Commons now operates from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., staying open 30 minutes later than its previous 2 a.m. closing time. Late Night Kitchen at Lakeside Dining will also operate from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

In addition, Arrillaga dinner hours have been extended until 9 p.m.

The Axe & Palm will continue to operate until 1 a.m. Sunday to Wednesday and 2 a.m. Thursday to Saturday.

Kimberle Badinelli, the director of marketing and brand strategy for Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE), said the time change occurred after dining ambassadors reported that many students had requested extended late night and dinner hours.

“Stanford Dining hopes to provide more meal access for students and their busy schedules,” she said.

Late night menus this year offer several new options. Chicken ramen bowls, for example, are now available at Lakeside late night. Badinelli recommended “Chocolate Chicken,” a chocolate-dipped chicken served with honey mustard and French fries, served at both Lakeside and Arrillaga late nights. Both venues now also offer the “Teriyaki Dog,” a hot dog topped with cream cheese mayo, avocado, fried onions and teriyaki sauce.
