Former Stanford power forward Mark “Mad Dog” Madsen (above) was known for his competitive energy and aggressive play and helped the Cardinal earn a Final Four berth in the 1998 NCAA tournament. After graduating from the Farm in 2000, Madsen played in the NBA for nine seasons, which included winning two championships with the three-peat Lakers. (THEO ALKOUSAKIS/The Stanford Daily)
