This report covers a selection of incidents from March 25 to April 1 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety bulletin.

Police received reports of multiple bike thefts during this period.

Thursday, March 25

A victim reported his iPod was stolen from his backpack on March 17 between 2 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. at Stern Dining.

Friday, March 26

At 3 a.m., the reporting party and his colleagues received a “strange” e-mail from a third party. No specific threats were made; someone from Counseling and Psychological Services evaluated the third party over the phone.

At 8:50 a.m. on the corner of Campus Drive and Via Ortega, a person was cited and released for driving on a suspended license.

Between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., a victim’s unattended wallet was stolen from her purse in her office in Bldg. 120. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office later recovered the wallet.

At 11:51 a.m. at 281 Santa Margarita Ave., a temporary restraining order was served. The restrained person understood the order and was cooperative.

At 8:20 p.m. at Masters Grove, a person was cited and released for being in possession of less than 28.5 grams of marijuana.

A victim reported her unattended suitcase was stolen from a second-floor Otero hallway on March 22 between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Saturday, March 27

At 8:15 p.m. on Junipero Serra, east of Alpine Road, an abandoned and unsecured vehicle was towed and stored.

At 2:30 a.m. on the corner of Campus Drive and Galvez Street, a person was cited and released for driving without a license.

At 10:45 a.m. on the corner of Nelson Mall and Avery Mall, a person was cited and released for being in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

At 3:10 p.m. on the corner of Old Page Mill Road and Page Mill Road, a person was cited and released for being in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

At 4:49 p.m., a vehicle was stolen from Parking Structure 1.

Sunday, March 28

Between 1 a.m. and 1:02 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole a victim’s unattended laptop from his dorm room at Theta Delta Chi. At the time of the crime, an unknown suspect was seen exiting the house. It doesn’t take a Theta Delt to put two and two together.

A laptop was reported to have been stolen between Oct. 1 and Jan. 1 from a room at Hansen Labs accessible to several employees.

Between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. at the Artificial Turf Field, an unknown suspect(s) opened a storage container containing miscellaneous sports equipment. It is unknown whether or not any items were stolen.

Monday, March 29

At 11 p.m. on Campus Drive and Mayfield Avenue, a person was cited and released for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Wednesday, March 31

At 8:15 a.m., an injury bike-vs.-pavement collision occurred at Santa Teresa Mall south of Old Union.

At 2:20 p.m. at the Department of Public Safety, a person was cited and released on an outstanding warrant.

Between March 24 and March 31, an unknown suspect stole pictures from an unlocked women’s restroom at the Haas Center for Public Service.

At 7:05 p.m. at the corner of Stanford Avenue and Junipero Serra, a person was cited and released for driving unlicensed.

Thursday, April 1

Between 1:10 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. at the Black Community Services Center, a suspect was cited and released for providing a false ID in his possession.
