The ASSU Undergraduate Senate held its first meeting of the academic year last night. There was little controversy at this opening meeting, as representatives discussed a number of different issues pertinent to undergraduates in the upcoming months.

Construction underway on controversial East Palo Alto IKEA
Having overcome fierce opposition from members of the local community, IKEA is set to open its second Bay Area store next August in East Palo Alto.
